College of Business Khulais

The College of Business in Khulais was established in 1432 AH after the issuance of Royal Decree No. 54727 dated 11/18/1432 and the issuance of Higher Education Council Resolution No. 28/66/1432 in 1432 AH to provide higher education in various business administration branches to qualify male and female students for the job market. The college seeks to provide the best scientific programs in the field of business while providing students with the functional skills required in the work environment that enable them to achieve a local and regional competitive advantage and achieve harmony between the outcomes of the educational process and the needs of the labor market within the framework of the quality requirements required for the graduate. In addition to deepening scientific research in various specializations in a way that contributes to serving the community.

The college includes seven scientific departments: the Department of Management Information Systems, the Department of Human Resources Management, the Department of Accounting, the Department of Finance, the Department of Marketing, the Department of Management of Health Services and Hospitals, and the Department of Law. Three of them have been activated: the Management Information Systems Department, the Human Resources Management Department, and the Management of Health Services and Hospitals Department.

    Announcing the second edition of the Logistics and Supply Chain analytics book prepared by a College of Business Research team

    A research team from the from the College of Business is preparing the second edition of a research book entitled: "Innovations in Computational Logistics and Supply Chain Analytics" This book highlights the state of the art and challenges related to the design and the application of computational methods to solve logistic and supply chain management problems. It aims to present for readers recent computational logistic methods and supply chain analytics techniques designed and applied to support managers in improving such complex processes. The project of the second edition of the book will be presented in cooperation with the Saudi Logistics Academy and Laval University in Canada, and will be published by Springer in late 2025.     A research team from the Khulais College of Business has actively contributed to the Saudi Basic Sciences Initiative (SBS) by submitting a research project currently under evaluation by the Research and Innovation Authority. The SBS Initiative is dedicated to advancing research in fundamental sciences, fostering research excellence, and promoting innovation. It also ensures sustainable funding for the research, development, and innovation sector. The initiative aims to accelerate scientific leadership in four national priority areas while also increasing the number of talented local researchers. By encouraging participation in critical disciplines, the initiative empowers researchers to pursue exploratory and impactful scientific endeavours.
